Planniac has a few simple tools to help with housekeeping.
A housekeeping report tool that lets a supervisor assign rooms to individual housekeepers. While this can be printed and used conventionally, it's a quick and easy tool when used on mobile.
Of course, there's the ability to let housekeepers log in to Planniac and see their assignments and mark the status. A "clean" status will also mark that room as clean on Cloudbeds.
What's really different about mobile housekeeping on Planniac is the ability for front desk or supervisors to include any special tasks assigned to guests, not just rooms. Room decorations, extra bed setup, package inclusions (like champagne for a honeymoon package), etc. are noted on the housekeeper's mobile.
Housekeepers can see the check-in / check-out status of rooms, and any day trips the guests are taking, so they know how to prioritize their rooms. They can even see expected arrival and departure times if Front Desk has included arrival details on Planns.
