Interactive housekeeper assignments and status

This report, found under REPORTS > Housekeeping, provides a view of the room status and housekeeper assignments. The report will show important information about the room and guests. It's meant to be a supervisor or management report.

This report shows today's check-ins, check-outs, stayovers, and empty rooms. You can also view tomorrow's report by clicking the yellow button that says "Show Tomorrow."

Housekeeping reports stay in sync with your Cloudbeds PMS calendar.

In order for things to show up properly, you need to be doing check ins and check outs properly on your Cloudbeds account. When you do that, all the rooms will show up in the right categories of Check-ins, Check-outs, Stayovers and Empty Rooms.

Housekeeping Task assignments

At the bottom of the report, you'll also see any special assignments for housekeepers that are for today or future dates. For example, there is a task on the Planns screen for a special arrival for Hiba Jensen.

There is a mobile version of this report that has more limited information. It's meant for housekeepers. With a login on their phone, each housekeeper can see the rooms assigned to them and any special tasks. They have limited features -- they can mark a room as clean when they are finished with it, or mark it as Do Not Disturb. That's all they will see -- a regular housekeeper doesn't have full access to the main Planniac dashboard or even the housekeeping report that's meant for supervisors.

To use Planniac's mobile housekeeping tool, you would need to set up logins for the housekeepers on SETTINGS > Planniac Users. There are two ways to set up housekeeper access.

Option 1. Set up a general housekeeping email address at your domain, such as HK@yourhotel.com. This will give every housekeeper the same view, which will look something like this:

Option 2. Give a user account to each housekeeper. The advantage of doing it this way is that a housekeeper's individual assignments will be highlighted on their phone. This is the recommended option.

Troubleshooting Tip: If you are not seeing a room under the right status on this report (for example if a stayover guest is not showing up in the stayover section) there could be a synchronization problem. Refer to this article for help with that.
