How does Lite work?

Lite is the starting tier on Plasma One. Lite pricing depends on your region: the current price for your account, including whether Lite is free for you, is shown in the app before you subscribe, and the price displayed in the app is the price that applies to you.

Earn cashback on eligible card purchases, paid in XPL.

Your cashback rates and perks are tied to your tier, not your card. All cards on your account benefit from your current tier regardless of which card you use to spend.

Cashback is calculated at the point your transaction settles or is captured, not when it is authorised.

Cashback is currently paid out weekly (currently on Thursdays). Rewards may remain pending for several days after a transaction posts and vest only at the end of the pending period. Payout timing may change.

If a Lite fee applies in your region and your account was created before it took effect, Lite stays free for you for as long as your account remains in good standing. Moving back to Lite when a trial, promotion, or paid tier ends is not a new membership and does not trigger a fee.

You can upgrade to Core or Platinum at any time from the Tiers tab in the app.

During the promotional period, Core is free for the first 30 days from launch. After that, you can upgrade to Core by paying $199 per year or locking 20,000 XPL for 12 months.
