When and how is cashback paid out?

Overview

Cashback is paid out directly to your XPL balance. This applies to all cashback types including base, AI, airline, and referral cashback. You do not need to do anything to claim it.

Cashback is currently paid out weekly (currently on Thursdays). Rewards may remain pending for several days after a transaction posts and vest only at the end of the pending period. Payout timing may change.

You can view your cashback earnings at any time from the Tiers tab in the app.

Cashback transaction states

Each transaction in your history shows a cashback state so you can track where your earnings are:

  • Accruing: The transaction has settled and cashback is building toward your next Thursday payout

  • Next payout: Cashback for this transaction is included in your upcoming Thursday payout

  • Completed: Cashback has been paid to your XPL balance

Minimum transaction amount

Cashback only applies to transactions of $1 or more. Purchases below $1 do not earn cashback.

Where to find your cashback

Your cashback earnings and XPL balance are visible in the Tiers tab in the app. You can see a breakdown of cashback earned from card spend and referrals, as well as your individual transaction history showing the cashback state for each transaction.
