The Purchases tab is your financial overview — a running ledger of all completed payments made by clients, whether through standard bookings or bundle purchases.

It focuses less on operational logistics (like scheduling) and more on who paid, when, for what, and how much — giving you the visibility you need to manage revenue and client accounts without extra spreadsheets.

Think of it as your internal receipt book.

🔍 Where to find it:

Admin Panel → Purchases

🧾 What appears here:

  • Every paid booking (via Stripe or Square)

  • All bundle purchases

  • Session purchases with promo codes or discounts applied

  • Transaction amount, payment status, and payment method

Each entry includes:

  • Client name + email

  • Session or bundle associated with the purchase

  • Total amount paid

  • Whether a promo code was used

  • Date of transaction

  • Payment method (Stripe, Square, or Pay Later if later marked as paid manually)

📌 Purchases reflect confirmed payments only. Admin sessions or Pay Later requests won’t appear here unless payment is tracked outside Podyx.

🧠 When to Use the Purchases Tab:

  • Quickly verify that a session was paid

  • Track how many sessions a client has bought historically

  • Manually cross-reference payments with external records

  • View financial activity without needing to dig into individual sessions

  • Confirm if bundle sessions were purchased (and how much was paid for them)

  • If "Pay Later" payment option is selected this is where you approve bookings.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • Purchases are not invoices. This is an internal view — receipts are not sent automatically to clients (yet).

  • You can’t issue refunds from here. You can do that in sessions by clicking three dots to the right:

    • Cancel will issue the refund and delete will cancel it without the refund

    • In case of a bundle cancel will put back the session in the bundle, deleting will remove it

🔗 Related Areas:

  • Users tab: You can also view purchases per individual user profile

  • Bundles tab: Bundle payments will appear here as soon as they’re completed

✅ Summary:

The Purchases tab gives you a clear, transaction-level view of your studio’s financial activity. It helps you verify who paid, how much, and for what — without needing to dig through your calendar or bookings one by one.

It’s your go-to for tracking payments, revenue, and purchase history at a glance.
