📊 Dashboard Analytics

See what's actually working: sold vs delivered revenue, backlog, revenue economics, service mix and room utilization.

Written by Marko Marjanovic

Who this is for: studio operators (admin panel) · Plan: Premium · Product: Podyx V2

The dashboard is where you find out whether the studio is actually working. Not just how much came in, but which services earn their keep, how much of your space you are really using, and how much revenue is still sitting ahead of you as unfinished work.

ℹ️ Dashboard Analytics is a Premium plan feature. On Essential you will not see this tab. See plans and pricing.

📅 Pick your period first

Filter by today, last 7 days, month to date, 30 days, or a custom range. Every section below responds to this, so set it before you read anything.

💷 Sold, delivered and backlog

The headline section splits revenue and sessions three ways, and the distinction is the most useful idea on the page:

  • Sold. Total revenue taken.

  • Delivered. Sessions that have actually happened.

  • Backlog. Sessions that are booked and paid but not yet delivered.

Expand any metric to sort by date and amount. Tooltips throughout explain exactly what each number counts.

💡 Backlog is work you owe. A big number is great for cash flow and a warning about the weeks ahead.

📈 Revenue economics

This section tells you about the quality of your revenue, not just the size. It separates base services from additional services and compares sold against delivered, with total sales, delivered revenue, percentage breakdowns, and economics per hour and per day.

If your add-on share is thin, that is the clearest signal you are underselling the extras where your margin lives.

📦 Volume and service mix

See how many units were sold and delivered, and which paid services drove them, additional services included. This is where you learn what people genuinely want, rather than what you assumed they wanted when you built your price list.

Each service now appears once in the Volume table, under its current name, with bookings from every version of it counted together. Editing a service — renaming it, changing its price or its length — no longer splits it apart.

Previously an edited service was broken into several rows, one per version, so the same service showed up more than once under its old and new names with its bookings divided between them. Every reading of the table undercounted it.

⚠️ Your Volume numbers will look different from before, and higher for any service you have edited. That is the correct figure, not an inflation — the bookings were always yours, they were just being counted in pieces. If you are comparing this month's table against a screenshot or export from an earlier month, this is why the shape changed.

🏢 Capacity and utilization

Capacity compares delivered session hours against each room's available bookable hours for the period. You get utilization by room and across the studio. Use it to spot a room nobody books, or a period where demand is outrunning the space you have.

🧠 Why it matters

  • You can price on evidence, raising rates where utilization is high and discounting where it is not.

  • You see which services carry the business and which just take up space on the page.

  • Underused rooms become obvious, which is either a marketing problem or a repurposing opportunity.

  • Backlog gives you forward visibility instead of only looking backwards.

  • An edited service still reads as one service, so your best sellers are no longer hidden behind their own rename history.

✅ Summary

Set your date range, read sold, delivered and backlog together, then use revenue economics and capacity to work out what to change. Expect the Volume table to read higher than it used to for any service you have edited, because each service is now counted once under its current name across all its versions. The dashboard is most valuable as a monthly habit, because the trend tells you far more than any single number.
