🌐 Custom Domain & Account

Put your booking page on your own domain. Add one DNS record, verify, and your Podyx subdomain keeps working until it's live.

Who this is for: studio operators (admin panel) · Product: Podyx V2

A custom domain replaces your default Podyx subdomain so your booking page lives on your own web address. It is a small change that makes a real difference: clients never feel handed off to a third-party tool mid-purchase.

🔧 Where to find it

Studio Settings → Custom Domain

🛠 How to set it up

  • Enter the domain you want to use in Podyx.

  • Add a TXT record with your domain provider. The name is _podyx.yourdomain.com and the value is the podyx-verification= string Podyx gives you.

  • Click Verify DNS in Podyx once the record is saved.

💡 DNS changes are not always instant. If verification fails on the first try, give it a little time and check again before assuming something is wrong.

🛟 Nothing breaks while you wait

Your Podyx subdomain keeps working the entire time. Bookings continue as normal until verification completes, so there is no window where clients cannot reach you. That means you can start this at any point, not just on a quiet afternoon.

🤝 If you get stuck

DNS is the one part of setup that trips people up, and every domain provider labels things slightly differently. Our support team can walk you through it, so reach out rather than guessing.

🧠 Why it matters

  • Trust at checkout. People are more comfortable paying on a domain they recognize.

  • Your brand stays intact from first click to confirmation.

  • Better for marketing, since links and SEO point at your own domain.

✅ Summary

Add your domain in Podyx, create the TXT record at your provider, then verify. Your subdomain carries on working until the new domain is live, so the switch is safe to start whenever you are ready.
