Connecting Amazon Seller Central to Polar
To begin analyzing your Amazon sales data in Polar, you'll need to connect each Amazon region (such as the US, UK, or EU) individually.
Step 1 : Check Permissions:
You must have Admin permissions on the Amazon Seller Central account.
If you don’t, either request admin access or ask an Amazon Admin to temporarily join your Polar workspace and follow the steps below.
Step 2 : Connect via Polar:
Go to the Connectors tab in Polar.
Search for and select Amazon Seller Central.
Click Connect to Polar Analytics.
Step 3:Authorize Access in Amazon:
You’ll be redirected to Amazon Seller Central to authorize Polar.
Make sure you’re on the correct country-specific page (e.g.,
sellercentral.amazon.com
for the US). If not, simply adjust the country code in the URL.Grant all requested permissions to Polar.
Return to Polar and choose the corresponding region when prompted.
Once connected, the initial sync may take 2–3 weeks, depending on your data volume. Amazon’s API releases data at a limited rate, which slows the initial load. Afterward, data will update daily or hourly based on your Polar plan.

Matching Data Between Amazon & Polar
You may notice differences between your Polar reports and what you see in Amazon Seller Central. Here’s how to align them:
Filter by Fulfillment Status:
Only count orders that are not canceled. Amazon may include pending or canceled orders temporarily.Match the Sales Channel:
Use the Sales Channel filter to isolate data for the country you're reviewing (e.g., amazon.com, amazon.co.uk).Adjust Timezone Settings:
Polar uses the timezone defined in Settings > General > Timezone.
Amazon defaults to:
PST (America/Los_Angeles) for US merchants
CET (Europe/Paris) for EU merchants
For accurate comparisons, temporarily switch your Polar timezone to match Amazon’s.
Data Sync Limitations
Polar can only retrieve up to 2 years of historical data from Amazon due to API restrictions.
