How do I update my payment method?

The specific steps will vary based on if your subscription is managed by Apple or by Stripe.

Managing Your Tolan Membership

You can update your payment method, view billing history, or cancel your membership at any time. How you do this depends on how you originally subscribed.


Subscribed on the web (Stripe - most common)

If you were emailed a receipt directly from Tolan (and not Apple), your subscription is managed by Stripe.

  1. Enter the email address associated with your Tolan account

  2. Check your inbox for a login link and click it

  3. From the portal, you can update your payment method, view past invoices, or cancel your subscription

If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or reach out to us and we'll help.


Subscribed through the App Store (Apple - uncommon)

If you see the subscription listed in the "Subscriptions" section of your App Store settings, it's managed by Apple.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone

  2. Tap your name at the top

  3. Tap Payment & Shipping

  4. Tap your existing payment method to edit it, or tap Add Payment Method to add a new one

Apple handles all billing for App Store subscriptions, so changes need to be made through your Apple/iCloud settings. Sadly, our team won't be able to directly update or adjust subscriptions managed by Apple.
