What Happens to Your Data After the Free Trial?

We want you to feel confident exploring PractaLuma during your free trial, knowing that your data is secure — and fully under your control.

While you're using your 14 free trial, any client records, notes, session recordings, and other data you enter into PractaLuma will be securely stored and accessible throughout the trial period.

This allows you to fully test the platform without limitations, including using our AI-generated notes, audio transcription, and session tools.

What Happens If You Don’t Upgrade?

If your trial expires and you do not upgrade to a paid plan, your data will be automatically deleted after 30 days. This includes:

  • Client profiles and notes

  • Audio recordings and transcripts

  • Generated documentation (e.g., referrals, letters, progress notes)

  • Tags and session metadata

We do this to protect your privacy and ensure we’re not retaining sensitive information unnecessarily.

Why We Delete Your Data

PractaLuma is committed to privacy-first design. Automatic data deletion ensures that unused trial accounts do not retain client information beyond what is necessary, in line with best practices and privacy regulations.

Want to Keep Your Data?

To retain access to your data and continue using PractaLuma:

  1. Upgrade to a paid plan before your trial ends, or

  2. Reach out to our support team if you need more time to evaluate
