How to Request New PREO User Credentials

XBS Users:

The method for requesting access to PREO has been updated. The new process will still leverage Service Now, but an approval workflow has been added to aid in request and approval tracking.

Here is the link to submit a Request for PREO access/changes:

Complete the Form and click Submit:

In the application user Requires Access To, select PREO from the drop down.

In the PREO Access Level Requested, select appropriate level:

  • Sales_SalesRep – Proposal created by the user. Typical Sales Rep user.

  • OrderProcessing_OrderDeskUser – All proposal in the Core assigned to the user. Typical HCL/TCS User.

  • OrderProcessing_DealAdmin – All proposals in the Core assigned to the user plus Deal Admin checklists. Typical HCL/TCS Deal Admins.

  • Sales_BranchDirector -Access is when mapped as Director on Proposal or Director of Branch. Typical Sales Manager/Sales Director user.

  • Sales_ProductionRep – Access when mapped as Production overlay on Proposal. Typical Production Specialist user.

  • Sales_MPS – Access when mapped as MPS overlay on Proposal. Typical MPD Specialist user.

  • Sales_SoftwareUser – Access when mapped as Software Overlay on Proposal. Typical Software/Solutions Specialist user.

  • Sales_XITSUser – Access when mapped as IT Overlay on Proposal. Typical XITS Specialist user.

  • Sales_CoreRVP – Access when mapped as RVP on Proposal or RVP of Branch. Should only be used for Managers/Directors of Multiple Branches with other Directors.

  • Sales_CoreVP – Access to all Proposals within assigned Cores or when mapped as VP. Typical VP/Core Leader user.

  • Sales_MPS_VP – Access to all Proposals within assigned Cores or when mapped as VP. Typical MPS Specialist Director/Manager user.

  • Software_SoftwareManager -Access to all Proposals within assigned Cores. Typical Software/Solutions Specialist Director/Manager user.

  • Sales_RegionalPresident – Access to all Proposals within assigned Region.

  • Commission_Administrator – Access to all Proposals within assigned Region & Commission data with Commission Management tools.

  • DeliveryCoordinator – Read only access to Proposals within Region and Order Scheduling Tools.

  • LogisticsManager – Read only access to Proposals within Region and Stop Scheduling Tools.

  • Driver – Read only access to Proposals within Region and Driver POD interface.

  • InstallManagement_User – Read only access to Proposals within Region and post-sale management tools (Install Management, 360 App Team Management).

  • BCG_MLUser – Global Read only access used typically for BCG users and internal controls users.

  • eCreditAPIUser – API user for eCredit connection.

  • Admin_RegionalAdministrator – Full access to data and settings for regions linked to the user account. Typical PREO Champion user

  • Admin_GlobalAdministrator

In additional information field, for Sales Rep requests, please include their Manager’s name and, if available, their Compensation Plan name and appropriate Quotas.

When approved, your request will be forwarded to a PREO Champion for completion.

HCL/TCS Users:

  • New HCL/TCS user requests should be created using the existing "Impact" process.

    • In the request, make a note to also request PREO Credentials

  • Existing HCL/TCS user requests should follow the instructions above by creating a request via ServiceNow.

    • User Types:

      • Order Processor

      • Deal Admin

    • List the Cores the user should have access to
