Once a PREO Proposal has been "WON", the deal is locked for all changes.

However, sometimes we need to make changes to a Proposal after it has been submitted. PREO has an "Adjustment Mode" that can be used by the Order Processing team. However, we must first review the Proposal and decide if an Adjustment Mode is the best option.

  1. Has the Proposal already been funded?

    1. If Yes, you should NOT use the Adjustment Mode. A new Proposal should be created.

  2. Does E-Automate have Sales Orders?

    1. You can use Adjustment Mode, but since the Sales Orders already exist in E-Automate, you will need to adjust these manually! PREO will NOT sync the changes to existing Sales Quotes/Sales Orders.

  3. If E-Automate does not have Sales Orders, you can use Adjustment Mode and proceed like normal.

Enable Adjustment Mode

Make all changes required

Sync Adjustment Mode

Create Order Items Option

Select YES if you have added/removed/changed Mainframes or Accessories or pricing.

Select NO if you have only made address changes, uploaded documents, or other changes that would not affect an E-Automate Sales Order.

REMEMBER: If Sales Orders have already been created, PREO WILL NOT update the existing sales orders. You need to log on to E-Automate and adjust manually.

Enter a Reason and Save

Describe why you made an adjustment and click save

BEFORE YOU FINISH....

If the changes you have made require a change to an existing Sales Order, be sure to communicate with the Operations team. They may have already built and shipped the machine, so it's important we work together to make this change!
