New Features

1. Remote Service Technology (Meter Technology/Meter Collection)

Description:
The Meter Technology feature is now available for all meter collection options, including those with advanced security settings. This feature lets users input the number of devices covered and automatically calculates the monthly cost using the regional price table.

  • New and Rewrite contracts will incur both an upfront fee and a yearly fee.

  • Add Contacts will only incur the monthly device fee.

Benefits:

  • Simplifies meter collection processes with enhanced security options.

  • Automates cost calculation for greater accuracy.

  • Provides administrators with the ability to configure pricing on the Region edit page.

How to use:
Users can configure this feature in the Service and MPS sections of the contracts page. Administrators can manage pricing for Remote Technology on the Region edit page.

2. Milestone SLAs

Description:
We've introduced Milestone SLAs to the order management page, allowing users to track how long a deal has been in its current stage. The following new data points are now available:

  • Stage Start: The date the deal entered the current stage.

  • Hours in Stage: The total time (in business hours) the deal has remained in the stage.

  • % of Goal Hours: A comparison of the time spent in the current stage versus the system-wide goal for that stage.

Benefits:

  • Provides clear visibility into deal progression.

  • Helps users prioritize deals that are approaching or exceeding time goals.

How to use:
This data is automatically tracked for each queue on the order management page. Users can utilize these metrics to ensure timely movement through stages.

3. Order Management Data Grids

Description:
Order management pages have been enhanced with the new Data Grid 2, which gives users the ability to configure and customize the visible columns. Each user’s column preferences will be saved and applied uniquely to their profile.

Benefits:

  • Streamlines data visualization by allowing users to hide unnecessary columns.

  • Enhances readability and user efficiency within the grid.

How to use:
On most order management pages, users can now adjust their column preferences in Data Grid 2 to optimize their view for their specific needs.

4. Funding Detail Sheet Export (Sneak Peek)

Description:
We are introducing an early preview of the Funding Detail Sheet export feature. While still a work in progress, this feature allows users to export funding details from the RAS page.

How to use:
You can access this sneak peek from the RAS page and export the current version of the funding detail sheet. We encourage users to provide feedback to help refine this feature.

5. Sequence of Discount Approvals

Description:
A new Sequence of Discounts approval process is now in place for proposals that include a post-sale discount of 30% or more and hold equipment margin. To proceed with these deals, users will need to request approval via the Requests page.

Benefits:

  • Ensures proper approval for high-discount deals, safeguarding revenue margins.

  • Provides users an option to bypass approval by allocating more revenue to services.

How to use:
Approvals must be authorized by the accounting team and can be configured by administrators on the Core setup page. This feature adds a safeguard for proposals exceeding significant discount thresholds.
