Setting Up Discount Types
You can offer discounts on preorders using two options: Percentage and Fixed Amount. Each type works a bit differently:
Percentage Discount applies a percentage off the product price. This is ideal if you want a consistent discount across multiple products, like 10% off all preorders.
Fixed Amount Discount deducts a set amount from the total price, no matter the product price. Use this for offers like $5 off preorders.
To help you set this up, we’ve created an introductory video that walks you through the steps of applying a discount to a preorder product.
To set up a discount:
Open the PreOrder Now (PON) app and go to the “Settings” section.
Scroll down to the “Discount” section.
Choose the type of discount—“Fixed Amount” or “Percentage.”
For “Percentage,” enter the percentage you want to offer. For “Fixed Amount,” enter the specific amount to be deducted.
Click “Save” to apply your changes.
That’s it! The discount will now automatically apply to preorders and appear in your online store.
