Step 1: Accessing the Collections Tab
Log in to Programa with your account credentials.
From the dashboard, navigate to the Collections tab located in the main navigation menu.
Step 2: Creating a New Collection
There are two ways to create a new collection:
Option 1: Creating from the Collections Tab
Click the New Collection button on the Collections page.
2. A pop-up form will appear where you will need to enter the following details:
Collection Image - Upload an image that represents the contents of the collection.
Collection Name - Enter a name to identify your collection (e.g. "New Arrivals," "Table Lamps," etc.).
Description (Optional) - Add a brief description to help identify the collection's theme or purpose.
3. Click Save to create your new collection.
4. Your collection is created and will appear with its cover image and name on screen.
Option 2: Creating from a Product's Bookmark Icon
While browsing products, hover over any product image in the Trade Portal until the bookmark icon appears, then click it.
A dropdown will appear, select + New Collection.
The same pop-up form from Option 1 will appear, allowing you to enter the Collection Image, Name, and Description.
Click Save, and the new collection will be created, with the selected product automatically added to it.
Note: You have the option to set your collection as Private or Public.
Private will keep the collection hidden and only available to you.
Public collections are visible to all including guests and logged out users. However, only logged-in designers with a paid Programa subscription can add products from your collection directly into their schedules.
In future, Public will also mean that the Collection will be showcased on your Company profile, however, since this feature is currently in beta, this functionality is still being developed.
Step 3: Adding Products to Your Collection
Click on the Collection cover image to open the collection.
You will see a notice stating: “No products in this collection - Visit the Trade Portal to add products to your curated collection.”
Click Visit Trade Portal to begin adding items.
The most effective way to add your own items is by visiting your Company Profile:
Search for your Company Name under Brands.
On your Company Profile, scroll down to Products and click "See more products in the Trade Portal" to view only your products.
5. To add a product to your collection:
Locate the bookmark icon on the top-right corner of each product image.
Click the bookmark icon and select the Collection Name to add the product to the relevant collection.
6. Continue adding as many products as you like to your collection.
Step 4: Managing and Editing Your Collection
To edit a collection, click the Edit button next to the collection name.
You can update the name, description, and add or remove products as needed.
To remove a product, click the trash icon next to the product you want to delete.
Step 5: Sharing Your Collection
If you'd like to share your collection:
Go to the Collections page.
Click the Share icon in the top-right corner.
This will copy the Collection link to your clipboard.
Share this link with designers and prospective customers.
If the designer has a Programa subscription, they can use this link to view the products in the collection and add them directly to their schedule with a single click.
Future Updates
Collections is currently in beta. In the future, we will introduce the ability to showcase collections directly on your profile page. Stay tuned for further developments and updates on this feature.
