Are you looking to add a campaign to your ProLine account for a specific purpose? It could be a speed-to-lead campaign, appointment reminders, or sales follow-up. Whatever it is, this guide has you covered and will walk you through all the steps to add the campaign (and functionality) you're looking for.

Step 1. Create Your New Campaign

Navigate to the Campaign Setup page in ProLine. Go to the slide-out menu (upper left) in ProLine, then choose Campaign Setup. You can create a new folder for your campaign if needed or add your campaign under any of the existing folders in your account. Name your campaign something that makes sense to you and relates to its purpose.

For a deeper dive into customizing the appearance and configuration of your folders and campaigns, read our Campaign Setup & Management guide.

Step 2. Open Your Campaign's Automation Page

Navigate to your new campaign on the Campaigns page. Now click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the campaign. This will open the automation page for the campaign. This is where you will edit and customize the automated actions that occur when a contact is added to the campaign.

Step 3. Add A Template To Your Campaign

While you're welcome to build your automation sequence from scratch, you'll probably want to use ProLine's award-winning templates to speed up the process.

Scroll down to the bottom of the campaign automation page, and click Add Template. This will pull up the template selection pop-up. Click the drop-down to view all available templates and choose the one that best fits your needs. Select Delete All Existing Steps if you wish the new template to replace any automated steps or templates you've previously added to the campaign. Click the Add button, and ProLine will begin populating the template.

Step 4. Customize Your Campaign's Automation Sequence

While our templates are great, you may want to make some tweaks to make them better fit your unique voice and business. You can easily do this by tapping on any of the steps and adjusting the content of the messages. For a complete breakdown of exactly how our automation engine works and how to completely customize an automation sequence, check our Customizing ProLine Campaign Automation Sequences guide.

Step 5. Setup Integrations to Start & Stop the Campaign

Unless you plan on manually moving contacts in and out of a campaign (which sometimes makes sense), you will want to connect this campaign to other software platforms outside of ProLine to make sure contacts get added and removed from the campaign at the correct times. Navigate to the Integrations page, then select the software you wish to connect your campaign. Follow the instructions on the integrations page first to connect the other software to ProLine, then configure conditional rules or set up webhooks for starting and stopping your new campaign.

Step 6. Enable & Test Your Campaign

Return to your campaign's automation page and click the green play button on the right-hand side of the campaign title box. This will turn on the campaign and set it live for any contacts added to it. Test your new campaign by dragging contacts into it and/or triggering it using actions in other software you've integrated. Make adjustments as needed.
