Adding and configuring a Zapier campaign action in ProLine allows you to automate and enhance your campaign processes by integrating with various third-party applications.

To use this feature, you'll need a Zapier account and a basic understanding of how Zapier works.

How to Add a New Step to Your Campaign

  1. Access the Campaign Editor: Navigate to:

    • Hamburger menu > Campaigns > Choose a campaign folder and click on Open Folder > Choose a campaign and click on Edit Campaign.

    • A campaign's stage triggers (gear icon) > View Campaign. Note: this might not be possible if the stage has no triggers or if the stage triggers have no campaigns.

  2. Locate the Plus Button:

    • For a pre-built campaign, scroll to the bottom to find the + button.

    • For a new campaign, the + button will be at the top.

  3. Click the Plus Button: Clicking the + button will add a new step. The new step will default to the "disabled" action.

  4. Select Zapier Trigger: Click on the Disabled dropdown menu and choose the Zapier Trigger option from the available triggers.

Configuring the Zapier Trigger

  1. Log into Zapier: Log into your Zapier account. If you don’t have an account, create one.

  2. Create a New Zap: In Zapier, create a new zap by selecting Make a Zap.

  3. Select ProLine as the Trigger App: Choose ProLine from the list of available apps.

  4. Choose the Trigger Event: Select the Zapier Trigger event. This is the action that will initiate the zap.

  5. Select Your ProLine Account: Choose the ProLine account that is linked to your zap. If you have multiple accounts, select the appropriate one for your campaign.

  6. Select Campaign Trigger: From the dropdown menu, choose the specific campaign trigger you created in ProLine.

Using ProLine Variables in Zapier

ProLine allows you to use variables to dynamically generate content that can be passed to your zap. This can be useful for sending personalized messages or data. Example: {{contact_fname}}, {{contact_email}}

Practical Use Cases

  • Lead Management: Integrate with lead management tools like Lead Scout to automate lead capturing and nurturing.

  • Extended Communication: Use Zapier to integrate with services for voicemail drops or direct mail, extending the communication options beyond ProLine’s native capabilities.

  • Custom Automation: Trigger actions in other applications based on ProLine campaign events, such as sending a Slack notification when a new lead is added.

By leveraging Zapier with ProLine, you can significantly enhance your campaign functionalities and create more seamless workflows.
