Introduction

Learn how to navigate the Proofig Dashboard/Home page, your primary tool for managing and verifying the integrity of scientific images in your manuscripts. This guide covers key features such as menu navigation, uploading manuscripts, real-life science examples, and task management, perfect for researchers, publishers, and reviewers.



Menu Navigation

On the left side, you'll find the main menu. This menu is available on every page within the Proofig system, allowing you to easily navigate through different sections such as Reports, Subimage Inspect, Page Inspect, and more.


Upper Right Buttons

In the upper right corner, you'll see two important buttons. The 'Contact Us' button opens a dialog where you can make requests or seek assistance. The 'Question Mark' button provides access to additional tutorials.


Also, in the top right corner, you'll find the Page Tutorial button, This button is available on every page and gives you access to tutorials related to the current page you're on


Upload Manuscript

To begin using Proofig, start by uploading your manuscript. Click the 'Upload your manuscript' button in the center of the screen to get started. This is the first step in analyzing and ensuring the integrity of your scientific images.


Real-Life Science Examples

Below the upload button, you can see real-life science examples such as Microscopy, Western Blot, and FACS & Other Examples. These demonstrate the system's capabilities and provide context for the types of analyses you can perform.


To Do Section

The To Do section is located below the examples. Here, you'll find a list of your unfinished tasks, helping you manage and track the progress of your article reviews. For instance, you might see a task to complete the Review stage.
