Why Can't the Landlord Sign The AST?

This article will give you an explanation as to why the landlord is not yet able to sign the AST.

The tenants have not yet signed the AST

All tenants will need to sign the AST before the landlord. Once the landlord has signed, the AST is then a legally binding document, so it is important the tenants sign first!


The landlord has not yet created an account

The landlord will need to create an account in order to sign the AST. If the landlord has not yet created an account - It will say 'Invitation pending' as shown below.


The move in monies have not yet been cleared

The move in monies will need to be cleared before the signing the AST. The payment status should look like the below.


The landlord can see an error page when trying to sign
