In the not-so-uncommon case of the incorrect shipping address identified in the packing process, PULPO WMS offers the customers an option to replace packing boxes after the address correction to allow re-fetching the shipping labels.

Identifying a label fetching error

If the shipping labels are not generated in the packing step, the PULPO WMS mobile app shows a red exclamation mark next to the shipping boxes.

Clicking this mark will show the error text allowing you to identify the cause of the error.

If the error mentions something like "Incorrect address", "Invalid street", or some other address-related issues, you can correct the sales order's shipping address in the PULPO WMS web app and replace the box after the correction.

For your convenience, the packing task can be paused to let the packer work on other tasks while the address correction happens.

Correcting the shipping address

PULPO WMS allows you to correct the Shipping address of the sales order at any stage of the order processing before the order is finished.

To correct the address, click on the 3 dots next to the order details and select the Ship to menu point.

The address dialogue will open, allowing you to correct the address. After saving it, the new address will be used for generation of the shipping labels for this order.

Re-creating the box in the app

After the address correction (and unpausing the packing task, if required), the packer can click the BLACK retry button to re-generate a packing box and retry fetching the label.

After confirmation, the box will be replaced, and the label generation will start using the previously updated shipping address.

The successfully generated shipping label can be printed directly from the mobile app.
