PULPO WMS allows to make warehouse positions unavailable. This can be useful if e.g. products with large dimension will blocking adjacent positions.
The setting can be activate per position in the warehouse wizard by selecting the flag NOT AVAILABLE for a position.
A position that is set not available will be marked with an ellipsis:
Setting a position to not available will trigger the following behaviour:
Products stored in that positions will not be available for picking.
The position is not available as an alternative picking position in a picking task.
Products located in the position are treated as reserved stock.
Position will not be considered when PULPO WMS automatically creates movement or replenishment tasks
Products can still be moved from or to the positions manually.
