PULPO WMS has a function for automated creation of the picking tasks from the outgoing orders entered manually, via API or by CSV upload.

Enabling the setting

To enable the automated creation of picking tasks in PULPO WMS, open the Settings, go to the Outgoing section, and click on the Orders and Picking tab.

There, the user has to activate the checkbox next to the Automatically create picking tasks on sales order creation setting and select a preferred picking type: standard picking or standard turbo-label picking.

Option Functionality

When the setting is activated and if there’s a stock of products, PULPO WMS creates a picking task with the selected type, containing the outgoing order that was created before.

The status of the outgoing order changes from "Queue" to “Picking”.

The picker for the task is not assigned automatically. The newly created task will be visible to all the pickers in the PULPO WMS mobile app.

If for some reason the task was not created from the order, it remains in the Incoming orders with the status “Queue”.

In case the orders are filtered by "Queue" status, there will be an orange "!" sign next to the order number.

Pointing the mouse at the "!" sign will show a window with SKUs of the products with insufficient stock.

The order that did not create a picking task automatically, can be sent to picking manually after the missing stock is available.
