In some special cases, if the barcode is un-scannable or missing, PULPO WMS users have an option of skipping scanning the barcodes of the products instead of typing them in manually.
Enabling the setting
The option is activated under the menu item Settings > Fast Commerce Features by activating Enable to skip scanning products during Fast-Commerce picking checkbox.
Option functionality
The feature allows the picker to pick the goods not by scanning the location and a product, but by tapping on the product and selecting the required quantity on the pop-up screen.
After the user selected the quantity and confirmed it, he can continue picking or finish the task early, just like in a normal picking process.
❗️ Important notice: using this feature in combination with the Quick Pick with Product Overview feature enabled will require neither scanning position nor scanning the products. This may lead to location mistakes and affect picking accuracy.
