Once the 3PL setting is activated, you gain the ability to add merchants you work with to your PULPO WMS account.

The concept behind 3PL is simple yet effective. Previously, without the 3PL setup, the hierarchy of instances was straightforward, with each customer of the 3PL provider having their own PULPO WMS account and integrations, even though they shared the same warehouse.

Warehouse staff had to switch between accounts to fulfill orders for different merchants, and the 3PL warehouse manager had limited visibility across the whole operation.

The standard non-3PL setup looked like this: The 3PL provider managed multiple independent customer accounts, with the following basic scheme.

With the 3PL system, the hierarchy changes significantly: Each 3PL provider now has only one PULPO account hosting multiple customers known as merchants.
All orders, integrations, products, and stock are merchant-specific and can be accessed without the need to switch accounts.

The warehouses managed by the 3PL provider are easily accessible from a single account. This change in structure brings transparency to warehouse operations and greatly improves convenience.

The scheme is shown below:

That ensures that a fulfiller using PULPO WMS is able to handle all of its merchants' needs.
