Loading Units tab
The Loading Units templates can be created in the Boxes & Loading Units part of the administration menu. The Loading Units tab contains the following information:
Template name
Type
Weight and dimensions
The default loading unit template in the warehouse is highlighted in bold purple.
Loading units types
PULPO WMS has the following types of loading units available:
Bag
Bin
Box
Pallet
Mixed container
A mixed container is the only type of loading unit that allows the storage of different SKUs within the same loading unit.
Other types can store a single SKU only.
Creation of a loading unit template
To create a new loading unit template, you have to click the orange + button in the bottom right corner of the Loading Units screen.
The Loading unit creation dialog will open. You have to provide the following template parameters:
Name
Type
Dimensions and weight
the Default selection specifies that this template is used as fallback if no other template is available
Once the loading unit template is created, it can be used for your warehouse operations.
