Learning Outcomes

  • Learn where you can access Saved Filters within your TRAC searches.

  • Understand how you can create a saved filter.

The 'Saved filters' function is arguably the most crucial facet of filtering your datasets in TRAC. It provides you with the luxury of preserving a specific filter you've created, allowing you to return to it seamlessly when you resume your analysis.

This feature proves especially beneficial when you're dealing with a broad brand search. It enables you to craft multiple saved filter perspectives, thereby enabling the segmentation of your search. This can streamline the process of sifting through a vast array of information, making your analysis more efficient and targeted.

How to Create a Saved Filter

You can create a Saved Filter after entering anything into your active filter by clicking on the 'Save Filter' button on the bottom-left.

πŸ“ Note: Once you have selected 'Save Filter', you will have the option to save it as a standalone filter, or attach a date range to the filter.

How to Access Saved Filters

You can access your Saved Filters through the last option on the left-side panel within the

filter.

Once you click into this, you will have three options:

  1. Regular Filters: These are filters that you have saved within the search.

  2. Custom Charts: These are filters that you have created as chart segments within your Custom Dashboards.

  3. Audiense Reports: These are filters that are automatically created from any Audiense reports that are created from the Audience Insights > Communities.
