Quick answer
QuoteIQ is field service software built by pressure washing business owners for pressure washing and soft washing businesses. In one app you can measure a house, driveway or roof from satellite imagery, send a package or options estimate, get it signed and take a deposit, schedule it (or save it with no date yet), move jobs when it rains, take before-and-after photos, and get paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH or customer financing. Plans start at $29.99/month (Essentials, 1 user). Satellite measuring and QuoteIQ Cam start on Beginner ($99.99/month). Online instant quotes, customer self-booking, automated review requests and route optimization start on Elite ($299.99/month). Every plan has a 14-day free trial. A credit or debit card is required to start it.
Key points
Built by people who did the work. QuoteIQ co-founders Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers both ran pressure washing businesses. Pressure washing was the first trade QuoteIQ was built for.
Quote without driving out. MapMeasure Pro (Beginner and up) measures square footage and linear footage from satellite imagery. You can also AI-trace a roof or concrete surface.
Sell the bigger ticket. Package and Options estimates let homeowners pick between a house wash on its own and a bundle of house wash, roof soft wash and driveway.
Rain days take one sentence. The weather forecast shows on your dashboard and calendar on every plan. You can then tell AI Autopilot to move a day's jobs and text each customer.
Get paid on the spot. Pay Now on every invoice, tips, deposits, card on file and Affirm/Klarna/Afterpay financing are on every plan.
Know what's on which plan. This guide includes a plan-by-plan table and a short list of things to check during your trial.
What is QuoteIQ?
QuoteIQ is a CRM and field service management app for home service contractors. It runs on iPhone, Android and the web. It covers quoting, scheduling, invoicing, payments, customer communication and job documentation. Its AI tools run on IQ Credits, which are included with every plan instead of being sold as a separate AI subscription.
For a pressure washing or soft washing company, that means one login for the whole job. You don't need one app to measure, another for photos, another for reviews and a fourth to get paid.
Who built QuoteIQ, and why does it matter for pressure washers?
QuoteIQ was co-founded by Mike Vidan and Justin Rogers. Both came out of the field, washing houses, answering phones and chasing payments. Mike bought his first pressure washing business in 2005 and grew it into a multi-truck operation. The product was shaped around the problems pressure washing owners deal with every day:
Quoting a house wash fast without a site visit
Pricing by surface, stories and add-ons
Selling bundles instead of single services
Working around the weather
Proving the results with photos
Getting paid before you pull off the driveway
How does QuoteIQ help me quote pressure washing jobs faster?
There are four ways to build a quote. You can use them on their own or together.
MapMeasure Pro: measure from satellite (Beginner and up)
MapMeasure Pro is QuoteIQ's satellite measuring tool. You open it from inside an estimate, load the address and outline the surface. It shows total area and perimeter, in square feet, linear feet, square meters or linear meters. When you tap Save to Estimate, the measurement goes onto the line item and your default pricing is applied.
Mouse Mode lets you drop pins by hand for house footprints, patios, pool decks and odd shapes.
Linear Mode measures fence lines, gutter runs and walkway edges.
AI Measurement traces a Roof or Concrete surface (driveways, sidewalks, patios) for you in about 15–30 seconds. You can edit every trace. Each trace uses IQ Credits.
Roof & Pitch Measurement gives you roof pitch and true roof surface area for roof soft washing bids.
Street View and Zillow Quick Access let you check siding, obstacles and access before you price the job.
Measurements save to the customer's profile, so you can requote next season in seconds.
Manual measuring is included with your plan. AI tracing and Property Lines lookups use IQ Credits.
AI Estimator: from photos to a full quote (every plan, uses IQ Credits)
Describe the job by typing or by voice, for example "two-story vinyl house wash, gutters, and the concrete driveway." You can add up to 5 photos. The AI may ask follow-up questions, such as how bad the staining is or what the surface is made of. Then it builds an estimate with line items, pricing based on your local market and suggested upsells. You review and edit everything before you send it.
Options and Package estimates: good, better, best (every plan)
An Options Estimate lists services as checkboxes, such as house wash, roof soft wash, driveway, gutter brightening and fence. The customer ticks the ones they want and the total updates.
A Package Estimate shows bundles you build in Settings → Packages, for example "House Wash," "House + Driveway" and "Full Exterior: House + Roof + Driveway." The customer compares them and picks one.
You can save any estimate as a reusable Estimate Template, such as a 3-tier pressure wash package.
InstaQuote: customers price themselves online (Elite and up)
InstaQuote is a self-quote form you embed on your website or share as a link. You set the pricing logic:
Dropdowns for house size, stories and siding type
Yes/No upcharges for a detached garage, rust stains or gutter whitening
Length × width dimensions for driveways and patios
A minimum price for each service
The customer sees their price, picks services and signs. The accepted estimate lands in Estimates → Accepted. The help center has ready-made InstaQuote setups for pressure washing and for roof cleaning and soft washing.
Also useful: Under Resources → Calculators you'll find a Chemical Mix Calculator for SH dilution and a Downstream Injector Percentage Calculator for draw rates. If you want a quick price range before you have an account, QuoteIQ's free public Pressure Washing Cost Calculator at myquoteiq.com/free-tools works on your phone.
How does QuoteIQ handle scheduling, rain days and routes?
Calendar (every plan): Day, week and month views, drag-to-reschedule and multi-day jobs. You can schedule straight from an accepted estimate.
Recurring jobs (every plan): Daily, weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly or every 6 months. Every 6 months suits a twice-a-year house wash. You can move one visit without changing the rest of the series.
Schedule Later (every plan): Save a job with the customer, services, price and notes but no date. You add the date when the weather or the customer is ready.
Automatic appointment reminders (every plan): Customers get SMS and email reminders before their appointment.
Weather (every plan): Today's weather shows on your dashboard. A weather strip sits above each day in the calendar's Day view. Tap it to see high and low, chance of rain, wind, humidity, the next 24 hours and the next 10 days.
AI Autopilot ("Ask AI," every plan, uses IQ Credits): Type or say "Move all of Thursday's jobs to Friday and text each customer that we're rescheduling for weather." Autopilot moves the jobs and sends the texts.
QuoteIQ MCP (every plan): Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Grok to your account and reschedule, book or check the agenda from there. You approve every change before it happens.
Customer self-booking with InstaSchedule (Elite and up): After a customer accepts any estimate, they choose Schedule Now to book an open slot on your real calendar, or Schedule Later to come back and book when they're ready.
Route Optimization (Elite and up): Put the day's stops in the most efficient driving order from the calendar Day view. It uses IQ Credits for each leg of the route. Route Density Zones and Dispatching are also on Elite and Max.
On The Way texts (Pro and up): Let the customer know you're headed over with one tap.
How does QuoteIQ help me document jobs and get more reviews?
QuoteIQ Cam (Beginner and up): Take job photos and video, including 4K uploads, linked to the job. It also covers inspection forms, job reports and the Before & After Photo Editor. When you take the after shot, a faint outline of the before photo helps you match the angle. You can add your logo, then save to the Before & After Archive.
AI Before & After Image Generator (every plan, uses IQ Credits): Generate a preview of the cleaned surface from one "before" photo and attach it to the estimate. Use it to sell the job, and use real photos to document the finished work.
Review Multiplier: The review dashboard, your review link and the post-payment redirect to your review page are on every plan. Automated email and SMS review requests triggered by paid invoices or estimate events are on Elite and Max only.
Google Business Profile reviews (every paid plan): See your Google reviews in QuoteIQ and reply with AI help.
How do I get paid with QuoteIQ?
Pay Now on every invoice (every plan): Customers pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or ACH (if enabled). They can add a tip.
Deposits and partial payments (every plan): Set a dollar or percentage deposit on the estimate. When the customer pays the deposit, the estimate is accepted automatically.
Manual card entry and QuickPay (every plan): Take a card in person, or show a QR code or send a payment link with no invoice needed.
Consumer financing (every plan): Turn on Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay. Customers can split a large job and you're paid upfront. The provider's processing fees apply.
Invoice subscriptions (every plan): Bill maintenance customers weekly, biweekly, monthly or on a custom interval, with Auto-Pay on a saved card or manual billing.
Mass invoicing (Beginner and up): Invoice a whole day of completed jobs at once.
Payment reminders: You send these by email, from the Send Reminder button on an unpaid invoice. QuoteIQ doesn't send unpaid-invoice reminders automatically.
QuickBooks Online sync and the Client Portal (Pro and up): Invoices and payments sync to QBO. In the Client Portal, customers can see estimates, invoices and appointments, request service, leave a review and save a card on file.
How do I make sure I never miss a lead?
Virtual Call Team is an AI receptionist that answers calls 24/7 under your business name. It's available on every plan. It asks the caller for their name, address, the service they need and how they heard about you. It filters calls by your service-area ZIP codes and declines services you don't offer. You get a recording and a transcript in your Call Log. Call time uses IQ Credits at 125 IQC per minute.
On Pro and up, ClientHub gives you a business phone number with two-way calling and texting, and Email & Text Automation sends follow-ups automatically when an estimate is created, scheduled or declined.
How it works on a real job
Here is one residential job from first call to five-star review. The plan needed for each step is shown in brackets.
Step 1: The lead comes in on a Saturday night. Virtual Call Team answers, takes the homeowner's name, address and request ("house wash, maybe the roof and driveway"), and puts the recording and transcript in your Call Log. [Every plan, IQ Credits]
Step 2: You measure it Monday morning from your truck. Open a new estimate and launch MapMeasure Pro. Pin the house footprint, AI-trace the driveway as Concrete and the roof as Roof, and check the siding in Street View. Save each measurement to the estimate. [Beginner+]
Step 3: You build a three-option package. Create a Package Estimate: "House Wash," "House Wash + Driveway," and "Full Exterior: House Wash + Roof Soft Wash + Driveway." Attach an AI before/after preview of the roof and a screenshot of your measurement, and set a 25% deposit. [Every plan; AI image uses IQ Credits]
Step 4: The homeowner picks a package and pays the deposit from their phone. Paying the deposit accepts the estimate automatically. On Elite, InstaSchedule then lets them choose Schedule Now or Schedule Later. On other plans, you schedule the job from the accepted estimate or save it with Schedule Later. [Deposit: every plan · InstaSchedule: Elite+]
Step 5: The forecast changes. Thursday's Day view shows a high chance of rain. You tell Autopilot: "Move all of Thursday's jobs to Friday and text each customer that we're rescheduling for weather." [Every plan, IQ Credits]
Step 6: Job day. Route Optimization orders Friday's stops. You send an On The Way text. On site, you shoot before photos with QuoteIQ Cam. [Route Optimization: Elite+ · On The Way: Pro+ · QuoteIQ Cam: Beginner+]
Step 7: Finish and get paid before you leave. Take after photos lined up with the before shots and build a branded before-and-after image. Mark the job done and send the invoice. The customer pays the balance with card, Apple Pay, ACH or financing, and can add a tip. [Photos: Beginner+ · Payments: every plan]
Step 8: The review and the repeat visit. After payment, the customer is sent to your Google review page (once your review link is set in Review Multiplier). On Elite, an automated review request also goes out by text and email. You book the next house wash as a recurring job every 6 months and, if they want, put them on an invoice subscription with Auto-Pay. [Redirect: every plan · Automated requests: Elite+ · Recurring: every plan]
Step 9: Back office. The paid invoice syncs to QuickBooks Online. Job Costing shows what you made after labor and expenses. [Pro+]

What should I check during my free trial?
We'd rather you know these things up front:
Start on the plan you actually want to test. Your trial only unlocks the features of the plan you chose. Changing plans during the trial ends the trial and bills your card right away. If InstaQuote, InstaSchedule or Route Optimization matter to you, start on Elite.
The trial comes with 250 IQ Credits on every plan. You can buy more at any time. AI Estimator, Autopilot, AI tracing, AI images, Virtual Call Team minutes and Route Optimization all use credits. Check the Usage Analytics lightning-bolt box on your dashboard to see what each one costs you.
Satellite measurements are top-down. MapMeasure Pro gives you footprint, area and perimeter. It doesn't measure wall height. Decide how you'll price siding (by footprint, by perimeter and stories, or by house size), and set up your default pricing before you rely on Save to Estimate.
Rain-day moves are something you ask for. The weather widget shows the forecast, but Autopilot doesn't reschedule on its own. You tell it what to move.
Payment reminders are manual. Appointment reminders go out automatically. Unpaid-invoice reminders are sent by email when you press Send Reminder.
Review automation is Elite and Max. On lower plans you still get the review link and the redirect to your review page after payment.
Payment processing fees aren't a flat published rate. Fees depend on payment method and account. Check your payment dashboard and the QuoteIQ Payments terms. If you connect Stripe, it will also ask for a working business website during setup.
