Learn how to attach documents to your file checklist in SkySlope

Updated over a week ago

Once you've successfully created your file, you'll be able to begin adding items to your checklist! Whether you're a seasoned real estate agent or brand new, ensuring that all necessary documents are promptly uploaded to the checklist can make all the difference in your transactions. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to seamlessly upload documents to your SkySlope checklist, which is crucial for completion of your file and receiving your commission in a timely manner.

Manage Your SkySlope File

  • Sign in to SkySlope.

  • Click Manage Transactions and choose the file you want to work on.

  • Click into the Checklist tab.

  • Choose which checklist item you'd like to upload and click Attach on the right.

Required items will be notated in red under the status column on the checklist.

  • Click Upload Document.

  • Choose a file from your computer and click Open. The status column for the designated item on the checklist should now read In Review and a paperclip icon with an "X" next to it should both populate.

    • Clicking the paperclip icon will allow you to view the uploaded document

    • Clicking the "X" will prompt you to confirm the action to remove the document.

  • As you receive the appropriate documents, please repeat the above process for each required item on the checklist.

  • Your file is considered complete once all required items (except those in the Closing Documents section) have been uploaded and reviewed.

Items in the Closing Documents section can be uploaded after the closing date.

After you've attached documents to your Checklist, you'll receive an email from one of our auditors with the subject: Checklist Update. Below is a sample email that will look similar to what you'll receive each time you upload items to the checklist and they have been reviewed. The email will also include any notes or comments your auditor may have for any items you've uploaded.

In the example below, you'll see that the auditor marked one of the items as Completed and another item as Incomplete due to the incorrect form having been uploaded to that seat.

You will be able to reply directly to these emails with questions or concerns (without having to log back into SkySlope to do so). Replies will go straight your auditor's email inbox.

Note: Please ensure all required documents have been uploaded by the scheduled closing date in order to receive commission promptly.
