Learn how to delete an incomplete transaction via SkySlope

If you've started adding a transaction in SkySlope but haven't reached the point where your file has a checklist, it will remain in an incomplete state and won't contain any documents. If you no longer need this incomplete file, it should be deleted. In this article, we'll provide you with a step-by-step guide to delete an incomplete transaction in SkySlope.


Deleting an incomplete file in SkySlope

  • Sign in to your Skyslope account. Click Manage Transactions.

  • Locate the incomplete file that you need to cancel and click on the icon that looks like a trash can.

Note: Only incomplete files will have the trash can icon available to click on to delete the file

  • A pop up will appear that lets you know all data will be lost and asks you to confirm that you'd like to delete the transaction. Click Delete.

  • Since this file is incomplete, no checklist is available and no documents have been uploaded, therefore there is no data to be lost aside from the initial basic information that was required in the beginning of file creation.

    • Here is an example of what data will be lost in the event that you delete an incomplete file.

  • Once you've deleted the incomplete transaction, it will disappear from the Manage Transactions page.
