How do I call a single contact without starting a full session?

You do not need to build a list to call one person. Open that person's profile and click Call. Raise More creates a new calling session focused on that contact so you can dial, talk, and log the result without selecting a list or queuing up other people.

Call one contact from their profile

  1. Open the contact's profile page (search for them or click their name from any list).

  2. Click the Call button near the top of the profile.

If the contact is marked Do Not Contact, the Call button is disabled and a tooltip reads "Person marked as Do Not Contact."

Connect yourself to the session

After clicking Call, Raise More opens the dialer and shows a "Connect to dialer session" panel. Choose one of the following options:

  • Call me: Enter your phone number in the field and click Call me. The button label changes to "Pick up and dial 0 to connect" while your phone rings. Pick up and dial 0.

  • Join via browser: Click Join via browser to use your computer's microphone and speakers. Your browser will ask for microphone permission. If the microphone is blocked, enable it in your browser settings and try again.

  • Dial in: On a phone, tap the Dial into link to dial in automatically. On desktop, scan the QR code with your phone or call the dialer number shown and enter the session code followed by *.

  • Join without audio: Click Join without audio if you only want to watch and log the call without connecting your own audio.

If there is no voice-capable caller ID on the account, a warning appears: "This session needs a voice-capable caller ID before calls can be placed. Temporary texting-only caller IDs cannot be used for dialer calls." Set up a voice-capable caller ID first.

Place the call

Once you are connected:

  1. Click the call button in the dialer. It shows the contact's phone number.

  2. Talk to your contact.

  3. Log the outcome on the contact's profile.

Leave when you are done

Click the leave button (the log-out icon) in the dialer bar to remove yourself from the session. If other users are connected, they stay connected. The tooltip reads "Leave the call session. If there are other users, they will stay connected."

Calling someone while you already have a session open

If you are already in a calling session and you open another contact's profile, the Call button moves your existing dialer to that person instead of starting a separate session. Use this to jump to a specific contact in the middle of working a list.

When you want to call several people instead

If you have more than one person to call, build a saved list and start a session on it. From the Make Calls page or the Saved Lists page, select a list and click Make Calls.
