How do I leave a call session without ending it for everyone?

Leaving a call session disconnects only you. Anyone else in the same session stays connected and can keep calling. When you leave, you are the only person who drops off.

This works whether you joined by browser, by phone, or as a listener.

Leave from the dialer page

  1. Go to the dialer page for the session you are in.

  2. Find the leave button near your caller ID. It shows a log-out arrow icon.

Hovering over it shows the tooltip "Leave the call session. If there are other users, they will stay connected."

  1. Click it.

  2. A confirmation dialog appears: "WAIT: Are you sure you want to leave this

call session? You will be disconnected!" Click to confirm.

  1. You are disconnected and sent back to the main dialer page. Anyone else in

the session keeps going.

Leave from any other page

If you are connected by browser audio and you navigate away from the dialer, a bar appears across the top of the screen showing your call timer and the message "You're currently in a browser dialer session."

  1. On that top bar, click the red "Leave session" button. It has a log-out

arrow icon. Hovering over it shows "Leave the call session. If there are other users, they will stay connected."

  1. You are disconnected immediately. Other users stay connected.

The same top bar also shows a "Return to the dialer →" link if you want to go back into the session instead of leaving.

What happens to the people still in the session

Leaving removes only your own connection:

  • A teammate connected by browser stays on the call.

  • A teammate connected by phone stays on the call.

  • The session itself stays open, so the dialer keeps working for everyone else

and the list position is kept.

The donor you were on the line with is handled by whoever is left. If you were the only person on audio, the active call ends because no one is left to talk.

Rejoining after you leave

You can come back to the same session at any time. Open the session again and pick one of the join options:

  • "Join via browser" to talk through your computer.

  • "Call me" to have the system ring a phone number you enter.

  • "Dial into" the dialer number shown, plus the session code, from any phone.

  • "Join without audio" to watch the session without being on the call.

Watching without being on the call

If you want to stay in the session but not be on audio, use "Join without audio" instead of leaving. This keeps you in the session as a listener. The button label changes to "Joined" once you are in this mode.

There is also a "Browse this list" option, which lets you leave the dialer page and scrub through the list on your own, separate from what everyone else in the session is doing. This does not pull you out of the session audio if you are connected; it just opens the list for free browsing.
