Raise More does not have a dedicated soft credit or attribution field on a donation. A donation is recorded against one contact, and there is no separate field that splits credit between a solicitor, a host, a bundler, and the actual giver.
The closest built-in approach is to use Donation Tags to label donations with who or what they should be attributed to, such as a fundraiser host, a bundler, or an event. You can then filter and total donations by those tags.
What is actually stored on a donation
Every donation is tied to one contact and has these editable fields:
Contact (the person the donation is recorded against)
Amount (USD)
Date
Receipt ID
Reference Code
Fundraising Page
Line Item ID
Donor Email
Donor Phone
Tags
Refunds are shown automatically: when a donation has been refunded, the amount appears struck through with a red Refunded badge. There is no field for in-kind, employer match, soft credit, or thanked status. Donation Tags are the place to capture that kind of information.
Use Donation Tags to attribute donations
Donation Tags are labels you create and attach to individual donations. They support nesting, so you can have a parent tag like "Bundlers" with child tags for each bundler's name.
Step 1: Create the tags you want to attribute by
Go to Donations in the main navigation.
Open the Donation Tags page.
Click Create (the primary button on that page).
Type the tag name, such as a host's name, a bundler's name, or an event name, and save.
To nest a tag under a parent, use the add action on the parent tag's row.
Step 2: Tag a donation
From a contact's profile:
Open the contact's profile.
Scroll to the Donations section.
Click Edit on the donation.
In the donation form, use the Tags picker to attach the attribution tag, then click Save Changes.
From the Donations page:
Go to Donations.
Find the donation in the table.
Use the row actions and choose Manage Tags.
Select the tags that represent who the donation should be attributed to, then save.
You can also set tags when you first add a donation. The Add Donation form includes a Tags field.
Filter and total attributed donations
Once donations are tagged:
Go to Donations.
Use the filter builder to filter by your donation tag.
The filtered table shows every donation carrying that tag along with its amount and date.
The running total at the bottom of the table reflects the filtered donations. Click it to switch between sum, average, minimum, and maximum.
What this approach does not do
It does not create a separate soft credit record. The full donation amount stays recorded against the one contact.
It does not double-count. A tag is a label, not a second donation, so totals are not inflated.
It does not split a single donation across multiple people as partial credit.
Bulk-applying a tag to many donations at once is not supported. Tags must be added to each donation individually.
If you need true soft credit or split attribution as a built-in feature, contact Raise More support so the request can be tracked.
