How to Set Up an External Link / URL Product
Add the External Link / URL Product to Your Store:
Navigate to your 'Space' tab in the Rally.Fan dashboard.
Click on the '+ Add Product' button at the bottom of the page.
Select 'External Link / URL Product'.
Customize Your External Link / URL Product:
Thumbnail Tab:
Start by ensuring you're on the 'Thumbnail' tab.
Choose the style of the product for your storefront: Button or Callout.
Style of the Button:
The button style is smaller and includes an image and text for the button.
Recommended image size: 400x400px.
Add text for the button (up to 30 characters).
Style of the Callout:
The callout style is larger, featuring an image and three text sections.
Recommended image size: 400x400px.
Title: Shown in bold at the top (up to 50 characters).
Subtitle: Displayed below the title (up to 100 characters).
Button text: Positioned at the bottom (up to 30 characters).
Add Your Link:
Navigate to the 'URL' tab at the top of the page.
Paste your link in the 'Enter URL' field. Ensure the link includes 'http://' at the beginning.
Save Your Product:
Toggle 'Save As Draft' to keep the product in your dashboard without making it live.
Toggle 'Publish' to save and make the product visible on your storefront.
Troubleshooting
Having Trouble Saving the Product?
If you receive a popup message saying "Wait Up! Please provide all required information," it means some fields are incomplete. Here's what to do:
Go through all the fields in the product setup.
Look for any fields highlighted in red, as these are missing information.
Fill in the missing information and try saving again.
