In Engage, we use the terms hot, warm, and cold to rank your proposals and determine the level of engagement from your prospects. This ranking system provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of your presentations and helps you prioritize follow-ups. In this article, we will explain what these terms mean and where you can find the associated analytics.

What are Hot, Warm, and Cold Rankings?

When you send out your digital presentations through the Engage system, each prospect's interaction is categorized as hot, warm, or cold. These rankings indicate the level of engagement from the prospect, allowing you to understand who to follow up with and when.

Hot Rankings

A hot interaction signifies a highly engaged prospect who has spent considerable time on your presentation, opened it multiple times, clicked on links, and read through a significant portion of the content.

Cold Rankings

On the other hand, a cold interaction indicates minimal engagement, such as a brief view or quick skim through the presentation.

Viewing Your Rankings

To view your rankings, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Project Overview section in the Engage system.

  2. Here, you will find a summary of your digital pages, with indicators showing whether they are classified as warm or hot.

  3. On the left-hand side of the page, you will find the Analytics section.

  4. Clicking on the Analytics section will provide you with a detailed view of your presentations.

  5. You will see the hot and warm presentations listed, along with the total number of views.

  6. For more in-depth information, click on the "Data and Tracking" option.

  7. In this view, you can examine each individual interaction with your presentation.

  8. Metrics such as the percentage of content read, links clicked, and time spent on each interaction are displayed.

  9. By analyzing these metrics, you can identify the hottest prospects who have shown high levels of engagement.

Leveraging Hot Interactions

Identifying hot interactions allows you to focus your efforts on the most engaged prospects. When you encounter a hot interaction, where a prospect has spent a significant amount of time, clicked on links, and shown genuine interest, it is crucial to prioritize follow-up actions.

These prospects are more likely to convert, so reaching out to them promptly can help you close deals effectively.

By understanding the concept of hot, warm, and cold proposals in the Engage system and utilizing the associated analytics, you can optimize your sales process and improve your overall success rate.
