In this article, we will discuss the concept of an event calendar, its importance in digital proposals, and provide a step-by-step guide on how to create one using the Engage platform. Let's delve into the details:
What is an Event Calendar?
An event calendar is a chronological representation of upcoming events that will take place within a specific timeframe. In the context of digital proposals, it serves as a visual tool to communicate the step-by-step process to potential prospects. For instance, it outlines activities like team visits, open homes, brochures, and signage, allowing you to showcase the comprehensive work involved in the selling process. By presenting this calendar to the vendor, you can subtly emphasise the value of your services and justify your commission.
Creating an Event Calendar:
Within a proposal, locate the Event Calendar button on the right-hand side and click on it.
On the Event Calendar page, you have the option to create a new event calendar.
Choose whether to use a template or create an empty calendar. Using a template is recommended for time-saving purposes.
Select a suitable template from the provided options. For instance, you can choose the standard marketing calendar template.
Specify a start date for your event calendar. This date determines the logical sequence of events.
Click Create to generate the calendar.
The system will populate the calendar with events based on the selected template. You can then rearrange events by dragging and dropping them into position.
f desired, you can add new events by clicking the + button and providing a name for the event. Click Save to include it in the calendar.
Once you are satisfied with the calendar, you can save it as a template to reuse in future proposals. Simply click Save as Template and provide a relevant title, such as My Auction Timeline
Remember, calendars not only provide a clear roadmap for your clients but also enhance the presentation of your services.
