In this article, we will guide you on how to add permissions to your versioned templates to restrict access exclusively to admins. This is particularly useful when you need to limit template viewing and usage to specific users or teams, especially for proposals. Follow the steps below to configure permissions for your templates.

  1. Navigate to your dashboard.

  2. Locate the Templates tab. If you don't see this tab, it indicates that you are not an admin user. If you wish to become an admin, please contact our support team.

  3. Assuming you are an admin, click on the Templates tab. This will display a list of all your versioned templates.

  4. Choose an example template to work with.

  5. Locate the settings icon associated with the selected template.

  6. Click on the settings icon and choose Permissions from the menu.

  7. In the Permissions settings, enable the option to restrict access to the people within a specific team. This ensures that only team members can view the template.

Note: If you haven't set any permissions and no one is selected, it means that anyone within the office will be able to view and use the proposal.

Please view the video below to learn how to manage your permissions in templates.
