Receiving notifications for proposals when you're not the lead agent can be confusing. In this help article, we will address this question and guide you through the process of editing the notification recipients. We'll explain why you might receive these notifications and show you how to customise them using our system.
Why Am I Receiving Notifications?
By default, the lead agent or agents on a campaign receive proposal notifications. If there are fewer than three lead agents, additional team members may be assigned to receive notifications. This ensures that the right people stay informed about proposal activities. However, you might still receive notifications if you were included in the recipient list or if you have been previously assigned to receive notifications for that specific link.
Editing Notification Recipients
If you no longer want to receive notifications for a particular proposal link, you can easily edit the recipients. Here's how:
Navigate to the campaign that contains the proposal for which you want to edit the notification recipients. Open the specific proposal you're interested in.
Within the proposal, locate the blue Share button. Clicking on it will provide you with the tracking link for the proposal.
Click on the tracking link and scroll down to find the notifications section. Here, you will see the lead agent(s) assigned to receive the notifications. If your name is listed, it means you're currently set to receive notifications.
To remove yourself from the notification recipients, simply click on the bin icon next to your name. This will stop notifications for that specific link.
If you want to add someone else to receive notifications, click on the Search Users field. Enter the name of the person you want to add and click Save. This will assign the selected individual to receive notifications moving forward.
