Price Lists Overview - Master Price Lists vs Forked Price Lists

Realhub's price lists config allows you to manage one master price list containing all of your products (per service) while also affording the flexibility to offer only some products to particular agencies, at either your master (standard rate) price or a custom price.

Think of your Master Price List as your 'central source of truth', listing all products and product options together with their standard price. From the master, you can then create a "forked" price list custom for an agency or brand.

While your master price list will hold all products available for the service, the forked price list for particular agency may only display some of those products - at either the standard rate or a special rate.

Let's look at an example:

On the left we have our Master price list, which lists all the signboard products we offer. Each product can have multiple options within, and should contain the "standard" rate for the product.

On the right, we have a Forked price list which applies only to Basic Real Estate Subiaco. On the forked price list, we have only enabled the 3x4 Bannerwrap and 4x8 Photo Boards. The remaining products, which all display "0 items" are not included on the fork.

This allows us to maintain one master price list with standard rates (applicable to majority of clients), while ensuring that Basic Real Estate only see the products they have available to them.

if Basic Real Estate has a special price (different to the standard rate) for one of these products, the fork also allows us to override the standard rate and have it only apply to this agency.

In addition to only showing certain products on a forked price list, we can use the eye (hidden/visible) icon to enable/disable specific quantities, individual options or entire options sections.

Note: Price list adjustments can only be done by providers. Agency and brand users such as office administrators, agents and brand admin do not have the ability to manage price lists.
