Bulk Pricing Updates

To give providers an easier and more accurate way to update pricing across multiple lists at once, without needing manual changes per agency list. This reduces the risk of errors, supports standardisation, and saves time.

Bulk Price Update: Global Adjustments

Use this feature to apply a universal price change across every product and option within a single price list. This is ideal for annual inflation adjustments or seasonal promotions.

Note: Bulk price adjustments should only be done on price lists that are not assigned to agencies. Best practice is to create a duplicate or fork of this price list and adjust the prices then bulk reassign the agencies or set the new price list as the next price list and set the expiry date of the current price list.

  1. Select Your List: Navigate to the Price Lists page and click on the specific list you wish to modify.

  2. Locate the Adjust Prices Tool: Scroll down to the adjust prices tool (typically located in the middle of the price list details page).

  3. Set the Direction: Choose whether you want to Increase or Decrease prices.

  4. Enter the Value: Input the percentage amount you wish to apply.

    • Example: Enter 5 for a five-percent increase.

    • Note: You do not usually need to enter the "%" symbol or a negative sign if you have already selected "Decrease."

  5. Clean Up Decimals: Tick the checkbox for Round to the nearest whole dollar if you want to avoid messy prices (like $10.03). This keeps your client-facing quotes looking professional.

  6. Review and Commit: Double-check your numbers. Once you click Confirm, the system will instantly recalculate every price in that list. This is done by clicking on the Price List Items tab and then clicking on each item on the left hand side.

Bulk Price Update: Multi-List Adjustments

Use this feature to apply universal price changes across multiple price lists simultaneously. This is the most efficient way to handle annual inflation adjustments or service-wide rate changes.

⚠️ Important: Think Before You Click

Bulk updates happen in real-time. If the selected price lists are "Live" and assigned to active clients, they will see the new pricing the moment they open a new quote or order. If you aren't ready for the prices to go live, consider using the Future Pricing method for each list instead.

  1. Access the Price List Dashboard: Navigate to the main Price Lists page. Stay on this main view (do not click into an individual price list).

  2. Filter Your Selection: Use the Search or Filter options to isolate the specific lists you want to update (e.g., filter by "Service Type" or "Region").

  3. Select Target Lists: Tick the Checkboxes on the left-hand side of each price list you wish to include in the update.

  4. Open the Bulk Tool: Click the Bulk Update button that appears on the right of the table once multiple items are selected.

  5. Configure Changes (Side Panel): A side panel will slide out. Enter your parameters:

    • Direction: Choose Increase or Decrease.

    • Value: Enter the percentage (e.g., 3 for a 3% adjustment).

    • Rounding: Select Round to the nearest whole dollar to keep pricing clean.

  6. Review and Confirm: Double-check the number of lists being affected (this is usually displayed in the panel). Click Confirm to apply the changes across all selected lists.

  7. Final Verification: Open one or two of the updated lists to verify that the prices have shifted as expected.

Note: Price list adjustments can only be done by providers. Agency and brand users such as office administrators, agents and brand admin do not have the ability to manage price lists.
