Connecting your bank is the fastest way to verify your income. It usually takes a minute or two and you don't need to upload any documents.
When bank verification is the right choice
Bank verification is the best fit when your income is deposited directly into your bank account β for example, paychecks via direct deposit, freelance payments through ACH, or recurring transfers from a payment platform. If your income lands in your bank account, this is the fastest and most accurate way to verify it.

What happens when you connect
You'll log into your bank through a secure connection. We use Plaid, a service trusted by major banks and apps to read transaction history. Once connected, we'll look at your recent deposits and identify likely income sources, and you'll choose which ones to include.
β
What you'll need
Your online banking username and password
Access to receive any verification codes your bank sends
Step by step
Choose Bank Account as your income verification method
Search for your bank and log in through the secure connection
Pick the account where your income is deposited (usually checking)
Review the deposits we found and select the ones that are income
Submit and you're done
Tips
Use the bank account where your paycheck lands β that's where we'll find your income
If you have more than one income source, you can connect another account too
The connection is one-time. We never store your bank login or password, and we don't have ongoing access to your bank after verification is complete.
