Connecting your payroll provider is one of the fastest and strongest ways to verify your income. We pull your pay history directly from the source β no documents to upload and no waiting for a deposit to clear in your bank.
When payroll verification is the right choice
Payroll verification is the best fit when your employer uses a major payroll or HR provider β for example, Gusto, ADP, Paychex, Workday, BambooHR, Rippling, or Justworks. If you log in to view your pay stubs through one of these systems, payroll connection will work for you.
It's also a great choice if you just started a new job: pay stubs usually appear in your payroll account before deposits clear in your bank, so you can verify income earlier than you could through a bank connection.
What happens when you connect
You'll log into your payroll account through a secure connection. We use Pinwheel, a service that integrates with hundreds of payroll providers. Once connected, we pull your recent pay stubs and verify your income automatically.
What you'll need
Your login for your payroll or HR system
Access to receive any verification codes your provider sends
Step by step
Choose Payroll as your income verification method
Search for your employer or payroll provider
Log in through the secure connection
Confirm the income we pulled and submit
Tips
Search by your employer's name first. If that doesn't work, search by the payroll provider's name ("Gusto," "ADP," etc.)
If you have more than one employer, you can connect each one
The connection is one-time. We never store your payroll login or password, and we don't have ongoing access to your payroll account after verification is complete.
If you do not see your employer listed you can use one of the other income verification methods available.
