If logging into your payroll provider isn't working, one of these is usually the reason.
Double-check your username and password
Make sure you're using the same login you'd use to view your pay stubs directly. Some employers have separate logins for HR, payroll, and self-service portals β pick the one that shows your pay history.
Two-factor authentication
Most payroll providers send a verification code by text or email. If the code isn't arriving, check your spam folder or confirm the contact info on file with your payroll provider is current. You can usually update it in your account settings on the payroll provider's site.
Your account is locked
If you've tried too many incorrect logins, your payroll provider may have temporarily locked your account. Wait 15β30 minutes, or reset your password directly with the payroll provider, then try connecting again.
If your login still won't work
Connecting your bank account is the next-fastest verification method. If your pay is deposited via direct deposit, bank verification will work just as well.
