If you'd like a refund of your application fee, the request needs to go through the property manager β they make the call on whether a refund is approved.
How to request a refund
Contact the property manager or leasing agent who invited you to apply. You can usually find their contact info:
On their website (look for "Contact Us")
In the email or text invitation that brought you to your application

Application fees are charged on behalf of the property manager. Rent Butter doesn't have the authority to issue a refund without their go-ahead, so the request starts with them.
If a refund is approved
Refunds are processed back to the card you used to pay. They typically take 5β10 business days to appear on your statement after they're processed.
