How to verify your rent payments

Two ways to verify your rent payments — connect your bank or upload documents.

After entering your current rental info, you'll be asked to verify your rent payments. This helps confirm you've been paying rent on time. You can verify two ways.

Connect your bank (recommended)

Connecting your bank is the fastest way. We pull your recent transactions and you pick the payments that went to your housing provider.

This works best if you pay rent through your bank account — bank transfer, ACH, or auto-pay.

Upload documents

If you don't pay rent through a bank account (for example, by check or cash), you can upload documents instead. Accepted documents include:

  • Recent bank statements showing rent payments

  • Cancelled rent checks

  • Money order receipts

  • A signed rent payment ledger from your landlord

Why we verify rent

Property managers want to see you've consistently paid rent. Verifying your rent payments gives them that confidence.
