If you want a copy of the screening report Rent Butter prepared for your application, here are your options.
If you live in California
California residents can opt to receive a copy of the report on the "California Resident Investigative Consumer Report Request" screen during the application. If you check the box on that screen, you'll receive the report within three business days of when it's provided to the property manager.
If your application was declined
If you were declined and the decline was based on information in a screening report, you have a federal right to a copy. Tap Contact Us on the decline screen — that emails Rent Butter directly.
If you want a copy for another reason
Email Rent Butter at help@rentbutter.com with your full name, the property you applied to, and (if you have it) your application confirmation code.
