Overview
Subteams help large leasing teams divide work, focus notifications, and ensure the right people see the right leads at the right time. They improve clarity, accountability, and responsiveness across your portfolio.
What are subteams
Subteams let you assign a group of properties to one or more leasing team members
Common subteam use cases:
Region splits (East vs. West)
Owner portfolios (Owner A vs. Owner B)
Office or zone coverage
Why use subteams
Using subteams gives your team:
Focused notifications — only the subteam members get calls/texts for their properties
Cleaner views — Command Center and the Showings Calendar show only relevant leads and activity first
Accountability — leasing performance can be tracked by subteam, letting you zoom in on individual performance
How to set up subteams
Go to Settings → Team
Select Subteams
Create a new subteam
Add team members to the subteam
Save your changes
Note: Only Admins can create or edit subteams
Assign properties to subteams
When activating or editing a property, you can choose a subteam:
Go to the Properties tab
Select a property
Click Take action → Edit property
On Step 2, select the Subteam
Press "Next" to save your changes
This ensures the property and its leads are routed to the correct team members.
Communications and showings for subteam members
By default, subteam members will see communication and showings from prospects that are interested in one of their properties. This applies to email and push notifications too.
If a user is not assigned to a subteam, they will by default see all communications and messages from all prospects.
All team members (regardless of subteam) will see messages and call from people who have not yet been linked to a property as a prospect.
Access leasing reports by subteam
To see subteam-specific leasing data:
Go to the Intelligence tab
Filter by subteam at the top righ
Reports and charts will now only display data for that subteam
