How to Configure Gift Cards in the Admin Portal
1. Access Gift Card Management
Log in to your admin portal.
Navigate to Gift Cards under Manage in the left hand nav.
2. Choose Your Gift Card Templates
Use Pre-Built Images
Browse seasonal and occasion-based images (Mother’s Day, Holidays, Birthdays) and select the cards you want to display.
Upload Your Own Designs
Upload a custom image (practice-branded or campaign-specific) using our new image editor, crop and edit as needed.
Recommended size: 980 x 616px (1MB).
3. Set Your Gift Card Amounts
Select the amounts you want to make available for purchase.
Add Standard Amounts – Example: $50, $100, $200.
Run a special offer or promotion with gift cards to encourage higher spend with tiered promos. Learn more here.
4. Schedule Your Gift Card
Once a gift card template is selected, it will go live immediately. If you’d like to launch a design at a specific time, set the start and end dates.
Gift cards will automatically display in your patient app and web page at the scheduled time.
5. Launch
Once enabled, your gift cards will automatically be available for purchase. Check the live listing when it’s active to confirm everything looks the way you want.

Q: How are gift cards delivered?
Gift cards are sent via text directly to the recipient, or email if it was added. If the recipient isn't signed up for the Patient App, they will be directed to sign-up first before accessing their gift card. If a patient buys a gift card for themselves, it instantly gets added as RepeatCash to their wallet. When a RepeatMD digital gift card is redeemed, its balance converts into RepeatCash and gets stored in the patient's wallet. RepeatCash can be used flexibly for treatments and services, including partial or full payments for purchases.
Q: Can someone buy a gift card even without the app?
Yes! Anyone can purchase through your practice’s branded gift card webpage, no app or account required. You can add this link directly to your practice’s website.
Q: Do gift cards expire?
No, digital gift cards do not expire.
Q: Can a patient redeem a gift card in-store or only via the app?
Both. Patients can use their gift card when they make a purchase through the app at checkout. If they want to use it in-store, admins can redeem the gift card on behalf of the patient in the admin portal. (Learn more about gift card management here.)

How to Redeem a Digital Gift Card
Receive the Gift Card Details:
Gift cards are sent via SMS to the recipient, including a unique digital code and a link.
Sign Up or Log In:
Use the link provided to sign up for RepeatMD or log in to an existing account.
Claim the Gift Card:
The Gift Card balance will automatically be added to the patient's wallet after they complete sign up for the patient app or log into the patient app.
Steps to Redeem Gift Cards for In-Office Visits
Access the Patient's Profile:
Open the patient’s profile in the Admin Panel under the Client Profiles tab.
Open the Patient's RepeatCash Balance:
Once in the patient's profile, click on their RepeatCash balance in the upper right-hand corner.
Deduct the Patient's RepeatCash:
Select 'Deduct.' Type in the amount you are deducting and then provide the reason for the deduction and any internal notes you'd like to leave for your team's bookkeeping.
Click 'Deduct RepeatCash'
Steps to Redeem Gift Cards for In-App Purchases
Apply Wallet Balance to the Cart:
Select the 'Apply' button in the RepeatCash section at Checkout to apply the gift card balance to the purchase.
Complete the Checkout:
Proceed to complete the purchase. Any unused RepeatCash balance remains available for future purchases.
