Set up location-specific branding (Admin Panel)

Learn how to give each location its own logo and brand color in the Patient App, and choose how location and platform logos display.

Overview

Multi-location practices can give each location its own branding in the Patient App. You can upload an optional logo and choose an optional brand color for each location, then decide how location logos appear alongside your main practice logo.

This article is for practice owners, managers, and admins who run one RepeatMD app with multiple locations.

Before You Start

  • Your app must have at least two locations. Location logos are not available for single-location practices.

  • You need Administrator access. If your access is limited to certain locations, you can edit branding only for those locations.

  • Have each location's logo file ready (max 2MB). We recommend the same format as your main logo: a horizontal PNG with a transparent background. See Asset guide (Admin Panel).

  • If you want a location color, have the HEX value ready (for example, #BF0D0D).

Why It Matters

  • Keep each location's identity when locations have their own name, logo, or look.

  • Stay in one app. Patients sign up once and you manage every location in one Admin Panel, without switching to separate apps for distinct branding.

How It Works

Location logo and brand color are both optional. A location with no logo uses your main practice logo. A location with no brand color uses your main brand color.

Logo display is one platform-wide setting. It applies to every location. Choose one of two styles:

  • Most specific (Location, fallback to platform wide): Patients see the location logo. If a location has no logo, they see your main practice logo.

  • Both logos side by side: Patients see your main practice logo and the location logo together, separated by a divider.

When patients see location branding:

  • After they select a location in the app.

  • When they open signup from a location-specific link.

  • When they open signup from a location's check-in QR code.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Add, replace, or remove a location logo

  1. Log in to your Admin Panel and open the Platform Settings tab.

  2. Scroll to the Location(s) section and click the pencil icon on the location you want to edit.

  3. In the Edit panel, find Patient app branding. Under Location Logo (Optional), click Upload and choose your file.

  4. To change the logo, click Replace. To go back to your main logo, click Remove.

Logo changes save automatically. You do not need to click Save Location for the logo.

Set a location brand color

  1. In the same Patient app branding section, find Brand color (optional).

  2. Pick a color or enter a HEX value in the format #RRGGBB.

  3. Click SAVE LOCATION.

To return to your main brand color, click Use platform color (or leave the field empty), then click SAVE LOCATION.

Add an optional cover photo

The Patient app branding section also has an optional Cover photo for each location (1170 x 600px, max 2MB). Click Change photo to upload one.

Choose how logos display

  1. In the Admin Panel, open the Platform Settings tab.

  2. In the Brand assets section, find Logo display.

  3. Select Most specific (Location, fallback to platform wide) or Both logos side by side.

This setting saves automatically and applies to all locations.

Best Practices and Pro Tips

  • Use a similar logo shape across locations so the header looks consistent.

  • Test brand color contrast. Overlay text on a brand color background is white, so choose a color dark enough to read. Check it with the WebAIM contrast checker.

  • Choose Both logos side by side if you want patients to always see your main brand alongside the location.

  • Preview as a patient. Open signup from a location's link or check-in QR code to confirm what patients see.

FAQs

Q: I do not see a Location Logo option. Why?

A: Location logos require at least two locations, and you need Administrator access to that location.

Q: Can I show a logo for some locations but not others?

A: Yes. Locations without a logo use your main practice logo.

Q: Can each location have a different logo display style?

A: No. The logo display style is one setting for the whole platform.

Q: My color did not save. What should I do?

A: Enter the color as #RRGGBB (for example, #BF0D0D), or leave it empty to use your main brand color, then click SAVE LOCATION.

Q: My logo changed but my color did not. Why?

A: Logos save as soon as you upload or remove them. The brand color saves only when you click SAVE LOCATION.

Q: Do patients need a separate account for each location?

A: No. In a one-app setup, patients sign up once and use one account across locations.
