Overview
RepeatMD uses specific image dimensions across your Patient Rewards app. Uploading files at the recommended sizes keeps your branding sharp, prevents upload errors, and reduces distortion when images scale on different devices.
This reference is for practice owners, managers, admins, and onboarding leads preparing logo files, hero images, shop imagery, and campaign cards.
Before You Start
Most branding uploads happen in App Builder (logo, home hero, Discover cards, shop category heroes).
Treatment, package, and membership catalog images are uploaded when you create or edit items under MedCommerce Engine or Catalog → Services.
Default file types are PNG for logos and icons and JPG for photography-style hero and card images unless noted below.
If you need help resizing assets, contact your Client Experience Manager, or support@repeatmd.com.
Why It Matters
Correct asset specs help you:
Avoid blurry or cropped imagery on patient phones and tablets.
Speed up onboarding by submitting files that pass upload validation the first time.
Keep branding consistent across Home, Shop, Discover, and campaign carousels.
Reduce support back-and-forth when files exceed size limits or use the wrong aspect ratio.
How It Works
Assets fall into four areas of the patient app:
Area | What you customize | Where to upload |
Branding | Logo, app icons, primary color | App Builder → Home (logo/color); Setup or App Builder for icons |
Home screen | Hero image, Connect with us | App Builder → Home |
Discover & offers | Campaign cards, home carousel | App Builder → Discover; offer creation flows |
Shop | Browse hero, category headers/thumbnails, treatment/package/membership cards | App Builder tabs and MedCommerce Engine catalog editors |
Use the dimension tables below when preparing files.
Business logo
Your logo is the primary in-app identifier connecting patients to your practice.
Spec | Value |
Minimum height | 366px |
Max file size | 1MB |
File type | PNG (PSD acceptable for handoff to your onboarding team) |
Best practices:
Use a transparent background
Use a horizontal wordmark for the app header
Do not place the logo inside a colored shape unless that is part of your brand lockup
Troubleshooting: See Avoid logos that dominate the header (Admin Panel) and Avoid logos that display too small (Admin Panel).

Primary app color
Your brand color appears as both background and accent across the app. When used as a background, overlay text stays white.
Enter color as RGB, HSL, or HEX in App Builder.
Test contrast with the WebAIM contrast checker.
Work with your onboarding team if you need help selecting an accessible brand color.

Spec | Value |

Best Practices and Pro Tips
Prepare a single source folder with all assets at correct dimensions before onboarding.
Use PNG for logos, JPG for photos. This keeps file sizes manageable and transparency intact where needed.
Pair header and thumbnail updates. Shop category changes look unfinished when only one asset is swapped.
Ask for optimization help early. Client Experience Managers can resize logos and hero images before launch.
Revisit assets after a rebrand. Update App Builder imagery and republish catalog photos together.
Common Mistakes and FAQs
Q: My file will not upload. What should I check first?
A: Confirm dimensions, file type, and max file size for that placement. Most hero and card images have a 2MB limit; logos have a 1MB limit.
Q: Can I use the same image for multiple placements?
A: You can reuse creative, but export each placement at its recommended dimensions. Cropping the same file for every slot often causes distortion.
Q: Who updates the Connect with us image?
A: By default it uses your logo. Send a replacement image to your Client Experience Manager if you want a custom photo.
Q: Do offer images need separate sizes for Discover and the home carousel?
A: No. Upload at 1074 x 606px; RepeatMD resizes for carousel placements automatically.
Q: Where do I upload each asset?
A: Branding and shop heroes: App Builder. Catalog treatment, package, and membership photos: MedCommerce Engine or Catalog → Services when creating or editing items.
