Overview
The membership carousel appears on your patient app’s home screen and highlights your active membership plans. From the App Builder, you can control the order memberships appear, the section headlines, the listed perks, and supporting icons. Changes also reflect in the Browse section of your Shop.
This article is for practice owners, managers, and admins who want to control how memberships are presented to patients before they enroll.
Before You Start
You must have Administrator or Manager access to edit App Builder content.
Click App Builder from the left-side navigation, then open the Home screen editor.
You must have at least one active membership for the carousel to appear to patients. If you have no memberships, this section does not display in the app.
Changes to carousel display apply app-wide on the home screen and in the shop Browse section.
Membership images, pricing, and benefit details are configured separately under Memberships in the MedCommerce Engine section. This article covers display and ordering only.
Why It Matters
How memberships appear in the carousel affects enrollment:
Control first impressions: The membership at the top of the carousel gets the most visibility; place your flagship plan first.
Set clear expectations: Headlines and perk lists tell patients what membership includes before they tap into a plan.
Keep messaging consistent: The same carousel content appears on the home screen and in shop browse, so patients see a unified message wherever they discover memberships.
Highlight seasonal or strategic plans: Reorder the carousel when you launch a new tier or run a membership promotion.

Best Practices and Pro Tips
Put your best-converting plan first. The top carousel slot drives the most enrollments.
Keep headlines action-oriented. Short, clear headlines perform better than long marketing copy in the carousel.
Limit perks to three to five items. Patients scan quickly; highlight the highest-value benefits.
Preview on a test device after saving. Confirm order, headlines, and icons look correct on both the home screen and shop browse.
Update carousel order when launching new tiers. Move new or promoted plans to the front so patients see them first.
